How can you bring green chemistry and sustainability into your class while meeting the NYSSLS and positively influencing student achievement? Green chemistry is a great avenue for putting chemistry content into context. We’ll share our creation of a NYSSLS-aligned curriculum map for New York teachers implementing green chemistry, including relevant phenomena and storylines. We will share labs that we use and it is our hope that we can collaborate in this session to brainstorm ways in which these labs could be included into storylines that teachers are planning or using.
