Pacific Northwest Professional Learning Meet-Up
May 12, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Join our Pacific Northwest professional learning community for science teachers to discuss how to integrate sustainable science and green chemistry into your classrooms & labs!
From ocean plastic to forest fires, our world needs invention, innovation and creativity to find solutions to our biggest problems. Green chemistry provides students real-world context to understand physical science and chemistry through a lens of sustainability. Additionally, green chemistry experiments increase classroom safety and enable student-driven exploration.
Whether you are new to thinking about sustainability in the classroom, or have already implemented green chemistry or sustainability lesson plans, come be a part of the discussion – and bring a friend! Beyond Benign Lead Teachers host bi-monthly meet-ups for teachers in grades 6-12 from 4 – 5pm PT. See the dates below!
