Green Chemistry Professional Development Interest

Looking for safe and engaging lessons to teach NGSS in unique and affordable ways?

Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment is teaming up with Beyond Benign, a national non-profit dedicated to green chemistry education, to offer an interactive virtual course eligibility to earn 1 graduate credit from Colorado School of Mines featuring green chemistry and sustainable science lessons and labs.

Led by Micheal Maudal the training will focus on how green chemistry can have numerous benefits for student engagement, increasing student learning in STEM subjects, and inspiring the next generation of scientists and citizens to design and choose greener alternative products.

Virtual course topics include:
