Université de Picardie Jules Verne

The University of Picardy Jules Verne offers undergraduate and postgraduate education in both pure and applied chemistry through a combination of lectures, laboratory work, and research activities. An introduction to green chemistry is provided to first-year students (Licence level), while more advanced instruction is integrated into two of our Master’s programs in Chemistry over the two-year curriculum (« Chimie Durable Organique » and « Chimie Durable Matériaux »). Topics such as life cycle assessment (LCA), eco-design, recycling, and the principles of green chemistry are covered and discussed throughout the courses. The program emphasizes a strong foundation in organic and materials chemistry, with a particular focus on industrial production processes. It is designed to respond to society’s growing demand for sustainable manufacturing methods and environmentally friendly technologies.
