Universidad Nacional de Villa María
Our institution is dedicated to advancing Green Chemistry education within the field of Food Engineering. By embedding the 12 principles of Green Chemistry and Engineering into our curriculum, we educate students on global environmental challenges while promoting a greener approach to engineering practices. Our initiative also aims to expand the Green Chemistry Commitment to other institutions in Argentina, fostering a national movement toward sustainable practices in both chemistry and engineering. We utilize a range of journals, books, and online resources to ensure our students and faculty are equipped to contribute effectively to a more sustainable future in food engineering.

Our primary goal is to immerse students in the principles and practices of Green Chemistry, equipping them with a deep understanding of global environmental challenges and the 12 principles of Green Chemistry and Engineering. By fostering this knowledge, we aim to inspire students to become advocates for sustainable practices in their future careers. Additionally, we are committed to expanding this initiative beyond our institution, encouraging other universities in Argentina to join us by signing the Green Chemistry Commitment, thereby broadening the impact of our collective efforts toward a more sustainable future.
