R.V. College of Engineering
The Department of Chemistry at R. V. College of Engineering teaches basic engineering chemistry to the students of all engineering programs. The curriculum contains Water technology, Corrosion science, Nanomaterials, Polymer chemistry. Recently we redesigned the curriculum and included the topics like principles of green chemistry and toxicity of nanomaterials and polymers. We guide the undergraduate and post students for their academic projects and also guide the Ph.D. scholars. The areas of research include environmentally benign green organic reactions apart from conventional organic synthesis and green synthesis of nanomaterials.
