The awarded project aims to identify and implement greener synthetic routes to replace existing experiments throughout the organic chemistry laboratory curricula at the Pontifical Catholic University of PR. The initiative focuses on reducing waste, minimizing solvent use, and assessing the financial impacts of transitioning to more sustainable laboratory practices.
