Short-Term Goals:
1. Integrate green chemistry principles into existing chemistry courses, emphasizing sustainable practices in lectures and labs.
2. Revise laboratory experiments to minimize the use of hazardous chemicals, replacing them with greener alternatives.
3. Conduct workshops and seminars to educate faculty and students on the importance of green chemistry and its applications.
Long-Term Goals:
1. Develop a stand-alone green chemistry course to be included in the curriculum, covering topics such as sustainable synthesis, waste minimization, and toxicology.
2. Establish a dedicated green chemistry research lab focusing on sustainable materials, renewable energy, and waste reduction in industrial processes.
3. Foster collaborations with industry and government agencies to promote the adoption of green chemistry innovations in local and national sectors.
