Developed and included two courses related to green chemistry for undergraduate programmes and two for postgraduate programmes.
BSc. Ed. Chemistry, MED. Chemistry, and PhD Education Chemistry.
Faculty Research, Student Research, Student Chapter/Club Activities and/or Outreach, Green Chemistry integrated Reviewed Curricula to take effect in the next academic session starting November, 2024.
I am trying to establish Green Chemistry Education Club for Education Chemistry Students. Although, there is ACS Student Chapter on Campus but students in Education Chemistry are not always carried along, students from Chemistry department are mostly the participants.
• Development of mandatory introductory modules on green chemistry principles
• Integrate green chemistry examples into existing chemistry courses
• Ongoing creation of laboratory exercises that demonstrate green chemistry practices
• Form a student green chemistry club
• Organize green chemistry seminars and workshops
• Create undergraduate and postgraduate research opportunities in green chemistry education
• Develop sustainability challenges for students
• Collaborate with GCC signing institutions to advance green chemistry education
