Sustainability is core at Eastern Mennonite University. The Biology and Chemistry departments offer an interdisciplinary, praxis based Environmental Sustainability major with the Department of Applied Social Sciences. While green chemistry has been part of the organic chemistry curriculum for several years, the departments are now embedding green chemistry throughout the rest of our curriculum.
