The department of chemistry at Chulalongkorn University has taught green chemistry in the B.Sc. level since 2006. Currently, we have also implemented two subjects: Green and Sustainable Chemistry and Advanced Technology in Green Chemistry as elective courses for all graduate student majors in chemistry.

Student Groups

Short term goal: Our staffs always introduce the concept green chemistry to both lecture and laboratory sessions. This activity has been applied from secondary school level to university level in order to promote the knowledge and awareness of green chemistry in Thailand and Southeast Asia.

Long term goal: In 2020, we plan to start a green chemistry program in our graduate level, especially for both M.Sc. and Ph.D. students who work closely with industrial research and development sector. As one of our goals, we wish to implement and push forward the concept of green chemistry to the Thai industries and societies.
