The Department of Chemistry, Physics, and Engineering Studies at Chicago State University is dedicated to integrating green chemistry principles into its research and educational programs. Our innovative facility focuses on quantum design, methane to methanol conversion, and hydrogen generation and capture. Students are taught green laboratory techniques, including microwave synthesis. We have also incorporated green principles into various laboratory activities and summer outreach programs.
