The Chemistry faculty at Buena Vista University are dedicated to incorporating green chemistry in the classroom and, more specifically, in the teaching laboratories. The general chemistry and organic chemistry laboratory courses are adapting best practices from the GCC to introduce and demonstrate modern green techniques. Overall, the faculty is dedicated to introducing the concept of green chemistry to students and highlighting its importance to reducing the environmental impact of various techniques and experiments.
