Stonehill College
Stonehill College’s ACS certified chemistry department takes a student-led approach to implementing green chemistry concepts. Students within Organic Lab practice critical thinking by developing and evaluating green chemistry experiments. Their chemistry club has taken steps to finding green chemistry activities to perform outreach and qualify for the ACS Green Chemistry Student Award. By working with the Green Chemistry Commitment, the department’s goal is to eventually integrate green chemistry and toxicology throughout their chemistry courses.
