Description
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at South Dakota State University has a rich program with focuses in environmental chemistry, analytical, biophotonics, and chemical education. Green chemistry fits nicely in to these existing programs and is being integrated throughout majors and non-majors courses, and the department is beginning to offer chemical toxicology courses for their majors. Several researchers are exploring a variety of green chemistry areas, with opportunities for undergraduate and graduate research.
