Dr. Karolina Mellor manages research and education projects at the Center for Green Chemistry and Green Engineering at Yale on a local, national and international scale. She is an expert in green chemistry education, instructional design and workshop development. Since 2017, Dr. Mellor has managed a Yale-UNIDO collaboration that brings green chemistry to practitioners in emerging economies around the globe. She works with industry, academia and governments to advance dissemination green chemistry and sustainability.
Before coming to Yale, Karolina received her Ph.D. in molecular biology from the University of Virginia. She also worked at the University Innovation Licensing and Ventures Group where she evaluated patent strategies and explored commercial potential of technologies developed at the university.
