Module 12 – Case Studies, ChemToxTidbits, “Grab Bag” Folder
Don’t have much time to prepare your lectures? Don’t know where to start with incorporating toxicology into existing class lectures or assignments? Not sure if you’re ready to adopt a full module? Do you just want access to the case studies, in-class assignments, homework assignments, and ChemToxTidbits slides? This folder contains all of these materials in a format easily accessible to you, so that you can quickly incorporate small amounts of toxicology and green chemistry into your lectures, labs, and classes as needed.
What’s included?
- Individual case study slides: copy-pasted from lectures in Modules 1-11, designed to be used as standalone exercises in a full lecture
- A list of lectures that mostly comprise case studies and in-class assignments: for future reference
- Example module assignments: Ten homework assignments that can easily be integrated into general chemistry, organic chemistry, environmental chemistry, or inorganic chemistry classes
- ChemToxTidbits slides: one-slide “mini” case studies on specific organic chemistry reactions or toxicants and their relationship to toxicology
