How did you connect with Beyond Benign?

I was revisiting videos of John Warner and stumbled upon his connection to Beyond Benign. I was so excited about what I saw that I called Amy Cannon right then and we arranged to meet soon thereafter. The rest is history.

What first drew you into teaching and science education?

I never really considered education as a career, but I was offered a position teaching physics after graduating college. I was lucky enough to team teach with one of the best teachers out there. The way he taught was magical and from then on I never looked back.

What excites you most about teaching green chemistry?

In a world fraught with troubles, green chemistry provides sensible solutions and it gives students hope for a better future.
