How did you connect with Beyond Benign?
I connected with Beyond Benign through my work with the MRSEC RET Program at the University of Minnesota. The faculty member that I was working with suggested the ‘Beyond Benign Introduction to Green Chemistry Online’ summer course as a way to learn more about the topic for the project that I was working on with her.

What first drew you into teaching science education?
I am passionate about understanding the way the world works and I want to share that passion and my enthusiasm for chemistry with others.

What excites you most about teaching green chemistry?
The impact that I am making on future chemists excites me most about teaching green chemistry. I know that by introducing students to green chemistry they might someday pursue making greener products and processes as a result.
