Description: Up to $5,000 dollars will be awarded to 10 Green Chemistry Commitment Signing Institutions to accomplish 1-year green chemistry projects that advance the teaching and learning of green chemistry. Funding must be used to drive awareness for Green Chemistry or support the adoption of Green Chemistry curriculum into chemistry courses, laboratories and/or outreach activities.
Eligibility: Any higher education institution from around the world who have signed Beyond Benign’s Green Chemistry Commitment are eligible to apply for this grant. Grantees can submit applications, prior to signing the commitment, but only those that signed the commitment by their proposal submission will have their proposals considered. This funding call is open to faculty, students and staff with direct affiliations to Chemistry, Engineering, and/or Science departments. Cross-department collaborations are encouraged, but all applications must include at least one chemistry faculty member.
