Award Description: These Green Chemistry Education awards for K-12 educators are designed to support the integration of green chemistry into educational settings. Beyond Benign hopes to empower and support K-12 educators to prepare their students with the skills to innovate for a sustainable future through these grants. Award Amount: Up to $1,000 First Deadline for Application: December 1, 2024 Award winners announced January 15 2025. Award must be applied by August 31, 2025 (contact K-12 Community Engagement Manager for exceptions) In the past, these awards have empowered K-12 educators to attend and present at conferences, fund classroom projects, develop, host, and attend workshops, and fund supplies for activities. These are just a few examples! K-12 educators are infinitely resourceful. Eligibility Requirements: K-12 Educators teaching in the United States. Preference will go to educators that are active in the Beyond Benign green chemistry community.
