Science Teachers’ Association of Ontario (STAO) is hosting a Pop-Up Virtual PD Event: Moving Forward, Together – A STAO Experience.

Join Ken Hoffman as he represents Beyond Benign leading session, “Greening the High School Chemistry Lab” during the Education for Sustainable Development strand.

A day will come when we no longer have to preface “chemistry” with “green”. This hands-on session furthers that goal by providing teachers with classroom resources to minimize the environmental impact of student chemistry experiments and develop a more sustainable course of study through sustainable green chemistry principles.

Audience: Secondary (11 to 12), Intermediate (9 to 10)
