Greener Chemistry: Principles and Lab Practices
This presentation will cover the 12 Principles of Green Chemistry and how to put them into practice to reduce human health and environmental impacts. The presenters will share resources for practicing green chemistry in laboratory settings—examples include reagent and solvent selection guides, greener alternative products currently on the market, and tools for how to assess the greenness of a chemical reaction. You’ll learn how to utilize a quantitative green chemistry evaluator used to prove and support greener methods for researchers and stakeholders through the 12 Principles of Green Chemistry.
