Amanda started working at Beyond Benign in June 2018. She graduated from Elon University, NC in 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental and Ecological Science. After graduating she served in AmeriCorps with the Massachusetts Promise Fellowship at the Northeastern University Marine Science Center for 2 years. During this time she managed an after school marine science program at Girls Inc of Lynn. She then worked with Maine Conservation Corps as their Volunteer and Outreach Program Coordinator. Before starting at Beyond Benign she was a Program Manager at Science Club for Girls in Boston. Amanda is excited to continue to combine her passion for science with education/outreach, and help spread the word about green chemistry!
