What do we E-Mail?
Beyond Benign is growing, becoming even more involved in communities and schools across the United States and around the world. Sometimes even we have trouble keeping up! We've re-evaluated our 'contact' goals and we're redesigning our support systems to become more effective at providing the type of information you're looking for from us.
Each year we interract with many thousands of K-12 students and hundreds of teachers attend our workshops. We meet thousands of people at community events, scientific and other professional conferences.
Beyond Benign's emailing is meant to inform you, the subscriber, with exactly what you need. For instance, if you're a teacher, you might like to know when our free curriculum is updated or new curriculum is added. If you're a parent, you might like to hear about upcoming community events you can bring your children to. And absolutely everyone needs to know how chemistry impacts their lives - and how green chemistry is finding solutions to the environmental, social and economic challenges we face as a global community.
E-Mail Policies
If you're on our mailing list, you "opted in" through this website, in person at a conference or event that we hosted or by applying for a workshop. To protect our relationship with you, we have high standards and strong policies in place:
- Any information you provide is confidential and is not sold or shared with any other organization.
- We email infrequently: a maximum of twice a month (including all mailing lists).
- Each email provides links at the bottom to modify your subscription, cancel it or report any problems or issues.
- Our emails never include materials that promote any company or business.
- You always have a direct line to us via email and phone on our contact page.
- Each email provides a link to the service that handles our email/newsletter service, MailChimp.
